LITMAN, SAMUEL
LITMAN, SAMUEL (1910– ), U.S. electrical engineer. Born in Boston, Litman was on the faculty at the University of South Carolina from 1940, and professor of electrical engineering from 1962. He wrote, with T.F. Ball, Laboratory Experiments in Direct and Alternating Currents (1940), and became an expert on information theory.
